His mother and father were always arguing about the lack of money and his father's gambling habit.
Which made Matt turn to the only stable thing in his life TV.
His favourite show at the moment was The Mentalist.
And thanks to puberty he found himself getting a crush on Teresa Lisbon.
He did not know what it was about the young actress that turn him on but whenever she was on screen he stood to attention.
Every night he would play over in his mind scenarios where she was madly in love with him so he could escape his humdrum life even if it was only for a couple of hours.
One night he imagined Teresa Lisbon appeared at the foot of his bed glowing like the northern lights.
He imagined she offered him the chance to escape into his own fantasies which he gladly accepted.
There was only one problem though.
Instead of Teresa Lisbon being in love with him he had somehow become her or rather her character in The Mentalist as a real person in a micro universe made just for him.
He was glad he knew all the episodes so he could fit into her part perfectly.
He just wasn't so sure that he could get used to being a real live woman with all the strange and complicated things that came with that gender.
